Employee Picks: La Sportiva Women’s Trango TRK GTX Boot

Employee: Talia Heck

“I bought the Trango because I needed a boot that was narrow in the heel (to prevent blisters) and that had a thick sole (to prevent bruising). The Vibram® Mulaz outsoles and aggressive rear lugs provide superior traction in all climates. The approach toes make these comfortable for scrambling and the Gore-Tex lining ensures waterproof breathability. What I like the most about it is that it took little to no time to break in. It is also very lightweight for this caliber of boot. The best uses for the La Sportiva Women’s Trango TRK GTX Boot are backpacking and/or longer and more advanced hiking terrain.”

Lightweight, Technical, All Synthetic, Waterproof Hiking Boot with Minimal Seams.

Pros:                                                                    Cons:
+ Slim and lightweight with minimal seams       -Breathable but still a little toasty
+ Thick EVA midsole for cushion                      -Only one color choice
+ No break in required
